In His Defense
My mom pointed out that I should write a correction to my post of the other night regarding my husband supervising the children getting dressed in the mornings.
In Mikel's defense, Alexander dresses himself (not Mikel). The night before, I usually hang their clothes on an easy-to-reach bar so each child can get herself and himself dressed. Mikel is just the one who was with them in the morning and took them to school as I was teaching. When I confronted my husband about all the backward clothes and teased him that I was going to blog about him, he said: "Oh. I had to button the shoulder buttons on Alexander's sweater. I wondered why they were on the back."
Regarding the backward pants, I can totally envision Alexander taking his elasticized britches completely off while going to pee pee at school and then putting them on backward. I guess I'll never know, though.
