Dinosaur Park

One of the trolley spots is at Dinosaur Park.

Since we we didn't step off the trolley, I promised the children we'd drive back to walk up the hill and hang out with the dinosaurs.

Here we are. It was a fun morning.

Trolley Treat

On Tuesday the children and I boarded a trolley for a narrated ride around Rapid City.

We've been talking about doing this for a while and finally decided to check it out.

It was just $4 for this fun outing. The trolley stops at touristy spots all throughout the city, most of which we've already been to, so we didn't get out.

The Beach

Well, not really.

Anna's Field Trip

Last Tuesday the kindergarteners at Anna's school took a field trip.

It was Anna's first time to ride on a real yellow school bus, though it was a short trip down to the park I've mentioned before that features storybook characters.

I met them there as one of the watchful parents, and took Alexander with me since he was out of school. But he blended right in.

Her last day of school was Friday, so now they're both officially out for the summer. And she was passed on to the first grade.
