Earlier this month Anna's school hosted its Writing Extravaganza, an event which showcased writings and illustrations from all students. Here are photos from that event.

Field Trip

This morning I got to tag along with Alexander's school for its annual end-of-year field trip to one of our area tourist attractions. It's essentially a drive-through wildlife animal park with the main attraction bears.

We drove through and saw most animals from the car. Then our caravan stopped at the picnic area, where students ate a snack and walked around to view the playful and adorable baby bear cubs.

This was my first time at the park, which is practically in our backyard, so I was excited to join the group. Photos and two video clips:
