Fun Lunch

Yesterday, I unveiled the children's fun new lunch boxes. Anna and Alexander were filled with excitement and wanted to open up their lunches right there in the car as soon as I picked them up from Montessori school. But it was a nice enough day so instead we headed to the park to enjoy our lunch.

After eating they had time to play before going to their afternoon schools. Anna learned a big lesson: We only slide down the slide, not walk up it. As I was holding Alexander for a time-out after he hit his sister (after they had a little tiff about whatever) I told Anna she could keep playing. The next thing I know she was running over to me crying, and before she could get to me blood was drooling out of her mouth. It was pretty minor, as she had a small cut on the inside of her lip. Apparently she decided to climb up the slide and got hit in the mouth by the shoe and foot of someone who was coming down.
