Fran was given the opportunity by the caregiver to feed little Ruslan before he was put down for the night. we're not sure what it was in the bowl, but I promised Ruslan that if he came back to the States with us, his diet would mirror dad's: Count Chocula, Pringles, and M&M's. He smiled and whispered he'd suck it up and continue to eat the baby food for a few more weeks without incident, but if we didn't come back for him, he'd grow up and one day travel to the US and find me, and then pour a bowl of the baby slop on my head. And smile.
