An obsession with feet
Well, amid everything else, we have spent the last two days taking photos and videos of Ruslan's feet, because as he began walking, his feet sort of point out to the sides and are not straight. It's amazing how much we've been obsessed with his feet, even bending them back and forward to show mobility, and we've been sending all these things to our doctors back in Washington for them to assess him. We hope these things will be curable when he gets back in the States.
Plus, dad is concerned, because this could severely impact his ability to be a college athlete. Because, as dad knows, even the local community college will cost $142,000 a year in 2024, so Ruslan's first words in english he needs to learn will be "full-ride scholarship."
