Mikel's second childhood begins
It all started Thursday with a Slinky posing as a binocular. As I looked through the hole in the slinky at Ruslan's face I realized that:
A) A Slinky from the Dollar Store is just as good as the more expensive Hasbro one. Both of them bend up, tangle, and become unusable in 3 minutes in the hands of a toddler.
B) Having a child will be license for me to buy other toys that I've always wanted but Fran wouldn't let me have before, because now they are 'for the children.' Things like XBox 360, an IPod shuffle, a DVD player and XM Satellite Radio for the car, and a Porsche 944 (which have special babyseat options that are important for the proper riding comfort of our child).
