Alexander Gets A New Bedroom

At long last, we set up Alexander with a brand new bedroom last night.

I say bedroom (as opposed to new bed) because, of course, not only did he got a new big boy bed but also a matching chest, new sheets and quilt. And we rearranged the room out of necessity due to the bigger furniture.

He wasn't scared a bit to jump up onto his super tall bed (we've since removed the four finial-like feet which dropped the bed down a good 3 or 4 inches I'd guess).

Look how excited he was. He was so happy to dump his sock and underwear plastic tub drawers into his new wooden chest. He loved that his bedding has a sports theme, and I loved that it wasn't garish but sort of vintage looking.

I think I'm just as excited about his new room as he is!
