Down to Lake Charles

We’re now in Mississippi at a house on a lake, where there is no Internet connection. So, my posts will be short. (I’m actually in town at the library now — have been for five hours, which I cannot believe — where I had to come to escape the commotion to get homework done.)

Here are photos from the first Lake Charles part of our trip down South and of the kids at a park.

The plane photos are from two different flights.

On the second leg from Denver someone at the airline took mercy on me and bumped us up to business class. Yea! There really was a big difference in leg room. We’d booked ourselves on the last row so we’d be a nuisance only to the row or two in front of us.

I was a bit concerned and excited at the same time when I saw we got moved to row 4. Concerned because the possibility of mine being those annoying (to other passengers) airplane children. Excited because I thought row 4 must be first class (apparently there were only two rows of first class).

But kids were great, both in the air and in between flights at the airports. They strapped their backpacks on and stayed with me the whole time and didn’t kick the seats in front of them and all that good stuff.
