Anna’s First Haircut
Even though Anna is 5 and a half years old and we’ve only known her for just over three of those years, I feel confident saying that I took her to her first haircut on Saturday.
How can I be so sure?
Because she had so little hair when we first met her that I can’t imagine anyone ever feeling the need to cut it. All she had was peach fuzz.
It’s been slow growing in. Not out, but in.
The cut we got was minimal, just a couple inches off the bottom. And a little shaping around the bangs she recently gave herself.
Here are photos from salon Saturday and from the first time we met Anna in September 2006 in a baby home of a poor Siberian town. Look at how much she (and her hair) have grown in three years!
