Thank Yous!

We wanted to say a great big thank-you to the Parutas and the Grecos for letting us borrow blankets and sleeping bags so we wouldn't freeze to death at night!

The Paruta family is Michael's sister, Maureen, her husband, Paul, and their two daughters, Megan and Rachel, who live in the Detroit area. Here are some pics of Maureen giving the kids some love and one of Rachel and Anna curled up to watch some girly TV show while I took advantage of the family's new washing machine one night. I didn't get many pics of Megan because she was super busy being a track star!

I've also included a number of photos of us stopping by for a visit (and returning the blankets) with the Greco family on our way out of the Chicago/Northwest Indiana area last Sunday. Aren't their boys, Dylan (4 years old and a just a few months younger than Anna) and Matthew (18 months old), just the cutest? And they're expecting their third boy this fall — what a fun household they'll have! Michael and I used to work with Joe at one of the Chicagoland newspapers. He is now graphic design director (or something like that) at a newspaper company in Chicago. Quyen works in HR in the city.
