Morning Play

I caught these cute photos of the children playing in their rooms the other morning.

Anna is a little angel in the mornings. She gets up and turns on her light, goes to the bathroom if necessary (you can see she did here because she didn't put her PJ bottoms back on; and it's so sweet that she sometimes doesn't flush because she doesn't want to wake up Alexander), then returns to her room for reading or coloring or playing with her dolls. She's quiet as a mouse, so we don't always know how long she's been awake. She went through a short period of coming into our room in the mornings. One morning I woke up, and the first thing I saw was her baby doll on the pillow beside me and Anna standing next to the bed.

We're still training Alexander. He can't reach his light switch without standing on toys, which is a no-no. Alexander is shown here shining his flashlight at me.
