Geaux Tigers!

It's a big day for us, and we got started early this morning. We woke up in time to drag out to the road two garbage cans and lots of leftover Christmas boxes for pickup, get ourselves and the kids dressed, have breakfast, coffee, etc., all so we could get out of the house around 8:30. Shreve had a long overdue pedicure appointment. Mikel helped me get all three kids out at the vet's office, then he went on to work.

The children behaved pretty nicely in the waiting room while the groomer did her work. Anna, especially, was cute. She found the toy stethoscope and went around to all the dogs/puppies and their owners in the waiting room asking to pet their dogs and somehow finding a way to check their heartbeats as well. I wished I'd taken the camera with me. It was a scene getting all three out the door, what with a dog itching to leave, the bill the pay, coats to put on and my directions to mind. But we still made it home by about 9:40 or so.

Since my team plays for the national championship tonight, I dressed the kids in LSU gear and strongly urged them to toss around their Tiger paraphernalia. As you can see, they obliged.
