So Cool

The weather has been so great today that I decided to treat the kids to a park adventure, complete with a new pair of shades and a picnic lunch. Just in time, too, apparently, as I recently read on the Rapid City Journal's Web site that tomorrow begins about a two-week period of ultra cold temps. Like 0 cold!

I don't know what the temperature was today but, while chilly, it felt more like an early spring sort of day. No need for big coats, just layers of shirts and hoodies did the trick.

We had a pretty productive morning, actually. We first enjoyed a leisurely waffle breakfast, then took a ton of newspapers to the recycling center and also picked up dry-cleaning. I just might even let the kids ride their tricycle and Big Wheel outside after naps.
