Spoke Too Soon

Well ... After Alexander got a taste of independent eating, he demanded to go for it all. Just a few days after I let him spoon feed himself, he began demanding to have the bowl of food in front of him so that he could scoop it up. What could I do? He wasn't going to eat if he couldn't do it himself. As if feeding time wasn't messy enough! After flinging his spoon full of yogurt across the table and at his sister's head this morning, I took it away. The next thing I knew, he had the bowl up to his mouth to pour the food in. Did anyone see A Christmas Story? Needless to say, we had to take a bath after breakfast. Anna, on the other hand, is pretty much Miss Neat at the table. She probably goes through about 8 napkins all by herself, as she likes to clean up her messes. I've been trying to show her that she can reuse the napkin after just one wipe. Here she is this morning pointing to a place where she'd spilled yogurt on the tablecloth and saying "No No."

I don't know what all Alex was eating, but it sure must have been good. Or either he was really hungry. That's too cute.
Love,
Mom
Dylan is a neat freak too. He even tells the dog off when she makes a mess. Hopefully this is one "stage" that he will never grow out of! LOL.
Alex and Anna are precious.
