Mmmm ..... Christmas Cookies

Anna and Alexander got to help Mama bake Christmas cookies for the annual Christmas party our apartment complex hosts each year. Mama mixed up the ingredients and rolled out the dough, and then brought out the children to help place the cookie cutters. Alexander had fun just making a mess for a while, so Anna and Mama had to finish up the job (Anna made sure she sampled plenty of the raw cookie dough along the way). At the party later that day, the children pulled about six ornaments from the tree and smashed one of them into tiny pieces, which makes me wonder what the heck we're going to do about our own tree. We have to have one, but what kind, how, where?
