Wednesday morning was nice enough to stroll down to the playground sans winter coats (I guess that doesn't apply to Shreve since he's always wearing his). Judging from their reactions, it must have been the first time the children had ever walked on sand, but they quickly adjusted and got on with having fun. After our visit to Maine last summer, Shreve came to love sand -- especially sticking his nose is the grains and then licking them all away.
