One strange way to gauge that Yana's feeling more comfortable with us

While we seem to bring out the best in Yana during our visits, we also bring out the worst.

She has wet herself both times she has been with us. Not such a big deal if she was wearing diapers. But the baby homes are so poor, the children are not regularly given diapers due to the costs.

In our first meeting last month, Yana was brought into the room and Fran kneeled down to greet her. But as Fran was speaking to an obviously overwhelmed Yana, a puddle began to form at her feet (Yana's, not Fran's).

Then yesterday, same thing. As we were playing with Yana during our Friday visit, Fran again noticed a puddle at Yana's feet.

If there is good news to take from this: Yana was with us for at least an hour before she wet herself on the second trip, and ... well ... the puddle wasn't quite as large.

So, I guess we can figure that Yana is slowly growing more accustomed to us.
