Indoor Camping

Alexander is back in school now after recovering from the H1N1 flu last week. His symptoms were a cough and fever. We kept him home from school the whole week and treated him at home.

I was in touch with his doctor's office, which diagnosed him over the phone (so I suppose we can't be 100 percent sure it was swine flu).

When I asked the nurse how she knew this is what it is, she said because the regular flu hasn't hit here yet and the H1N1 has. I think a lot of kids at his school were out with it last week, and his school director is out with it this week.

Thankfully, Alexander is well now and remarkably no-one else in the house has seemed to come down with it. Anna has coughed a few times and last week measured a very mild temperature a couple times. When she has I've given her the OTC meds, as well. But both kids seem to be over that cough, now, too.
