Snow Play

Today has been considerably warmer with virtually no wind, so after breakfast we ventured out for some quality snow play.
I pulled the kids on the sled for a bit, but it was like feast or famine — either too shallow or too deep. As you can see in the video here, if the posting works, snow was knee-deep in places. It was a good workout!
So, after a while I told the kids we'd just get the sand toys and let them shovel snow. They tried snow angels but are sorely lacking in this skill area.
And I couldn't not post pooch pics, of Shreve licking the packed-in snow and chilling with one paw turned under. Oh, and here's one of the many deer trekking through our backyard this morning.

Wow, that looks like fun--but only if you can stay home and play! Beautiful photos! I really enjoy keeping up with y'all and hope we get to see you soon!!!! Aunt Barb
Oh my gosh, so much snow. it looks so clean, white and fun (for now anyway!) I think we are suppose to get the remnants of your storm this weekend. I miss Texas in the winter! :)
Beautiful and some action pictures. I hope we get a good snow on my visit in Dec. The kids are so cute, can't wait to see all of you.
Love Dad
