Snow Play

Today has been considerably warmer with virtually no wind, so after breakfast we ventured out for some quality snow play.

I pulled the kids on the sled for a bit, but it was like feast or famine — either too shallow or too deep. As you can see in the video here, if the posting works, snow was knee-deep in places. It was a good workout!

So, after a while I told the kids we'd just get the sand toys and let them shovel snow. They tried snow angels but are sorely lacking in this skill area.

And I couldn't not post pooch pics, of Shreve licking the packed-in snow and chilling with one paw turned under. Oh, and here's one of the many deer trekking through our backyard this morning.
