Fourth Of July: Sparklers

With very close supervision, we showed the children sparklers later that night. The children were curious but tentative. Alexander wanted to go inside because he heard other people in the neighborhood shooting off fireworks, which he thought was hail. And he didn't want to get hit by hail. Obviously, we've had a few hailstorms here within the past two months.
