Teddy Grahams, goldfish and yogurt. Welcome to a well-rounded American child's diet

We didn't get a lot of information regarding what to feed the children, though apparently Yana's baby home fed her six times a day, which would explain her porridge belly. Mom has some Teddy Grahams, Goldfish, and some yogurt in the room, as well as some apple juice in sippy cups (It took us a little while to get Yana to understand she needed to suck on those things to get the juice to come out, but now that she knows, she won't let go of the darn cup. Ruslan still hasn't quite mastered it, so mom takes the lid off and he pours it into his mouth the old-fashioned, adult way).

Both kids can feed themselves with the finger food, though this morning we will take them down to the hotel for their first breakfast at a table, so we'll see how they perform under the glaring lights of public introspection.

Needless to say, dad is loving their diet, because it's as close to laying on the couch with the remote, a bag of Dortos and a Coke as he has gotten in a long time. and for right now, snack foods for dinner are sanctioned and temporarily approved by momma, so daddy is sharing in the goldfish and the teddys.
