Going, Going, Gone!

We walked up to Old Faithful just in time to view its spectacular eruption. Whew, because as you can see, it was diminishing before we could get up close. And then suddenly, it was gone. Of course, we could have waited nearly an hour and a half for the next spouting, but we had other places to go see. The geyser erupts for only 2-5 minutes at a time. The minimum time between eruptions is about 30 minutes, the average time just over 60 minutes and the maximum time is more than 90 minutes.
